I just recently revisited a project I downloaded a couple months ago from the talented Memphis producer Moebius. Love’s Gonna Get You is a completely instrumental EP that lives somewhere in the realms of experimental hip hop sampledelia. Meobius calls it a “sketchtape”.

Albany, NY – It’s been a little over a year since the last Breaking Point, KassCrook has reached another level and is ready to present to the world. Overall a much more polished rap artist, KassCrook, displays the confidence of a true veteran. Breaking Point 2 aims to secure KassCrook’s average listener as a core fan, and make them desire more. Features on this project come from HGH’s Intell Hazefield and Kwamizzle, DeSean Moore, Vay Cool of FiF, and also Concrete Kid. Don’t pass on this without giving it an unbiased listen. ~DunDemWorld
Music Video “Grind” from Breaking Point 2.
AWAR’s “Keep Risin’” is a universal anthem for the everyday hustle. I had to post this video because I can definitely connect to these lyrics at this point in my life with the studio, the blogs, the businesses, etc.
“…we’re still grinding; got goals to achieve, the drama, the karma, the life I lead…”
In her latest collaboration with video director Jace, R&B/Soul artist Whitney Coleman delivers a joint that may leave you fist pumping through your local gas stations, tattoo parlors, and break-dancer-full parking lots. What makes this project even more impressive is that the production from top to bottom for the song and video were all done in under a week!

Stranger Part 2: Love Me
Hand Gunz High member, Kane’s debut solo project is an ode to some of the finer things in life that we often take for granted… like love, herbal remedies, and the sheer ability to use our brain.

NYC rapper, NOEY, makes his music video debut with “Mr. Happy.” This is off of his debut mixtape, My Way, which can be downloaded for free at www.noeyofficial.com. Video Intell Hazefield.
You usually see Jo Biggs accompanied by his First Class comrades, Ace Gifted and Sonny Black, but this summer he’ll be showing off his skill as an individual MC. Off his first solo project, “The Conceited Nobody”, Biggs gives you “Head To The Sky” featuring Rocka Boy directed by Moore Than Vision.
Poo Grams is from Newburgh, NY. The same place introduced to me by Ses Da Great as a “hood surrounded by the (Catskill) mountains.” When asked about the project Poo Grams said, “when I say ‘From Hell’… it’s symbolic to where I come from, not only was I living in hell physically, I was in hell mentally.”
I promise you, this project will have you nodding your head to on-point flows over dope beats, while your jiggling brain is fully enlisted into the workings of a very seasoned lyricist.
Executive Producer: Ses Da Great
Co-Producers: Poo Grams and DJ Dest of Blend Brothers
Cover Art: CDP
The Bronx born, Upstate NY raised artist, Jaja Gibore, releases his first solo project, The Odyssey EP. Inspired by the stories of Greco-Roman mythology, The Odyssey EP is Jaja’s introduction as a solo lyricist with a dynamic sound, deep content, and unique concepts.

Me and My Brother
If I can greatly encourage you to listen to anything this spring, it will be My Way from NYC rapper, NOEY. My Way is a diary that transitions smoothly between subjects like death, drugs, women, hope, and success. NOEY’s lackadaisical tone fills My Way with dense lyrical content over both laidback and bouncy beats, along with both simple and wildly complex flows and rhyme schemes. My Way is an elaborate, multi-layered project that serves as excellent music for cruising, or while enjoying other extracurricular activities (cough, cough).
My cousin just put me up on this DMV native. His smooth falsetto vocals reminds me of Maxwell or Bilal and the track is reminiscent of a Mayer Hawthorne cut. Check out his new video Airport Love.
Gubitron is an electro producer out of Albany, NY and James Rock is a producer/rapper out of the small town of Peru, NY. This bumping dubstep track produced by Gubitron overlaid with fresh verses from James Rock, “The Outlier” is an example of the internet winning; bringing together the worlds of two very versatile and talented young artists, both under the age of 21. The future is looking good.
It isn’t usually known as a holiday of gift giving, but on this past Earth Day, Kwamizzle bestowed upon us his latest production, “Full Mental Alchemy.”
Its been a little over a year since I’ve started recording for FMA. I wanted to up the ante from my last project. I wanted to really show that I could bring out that essence of hip hop. I felt like that particular feeling was the exact same vibe one gets while listening to any Alchemist production. Full Mental Alchemy. Alchemy, basically, is being able to create something great out of “nothing”. With FMA I aimed to create something great using my “full mental”, my mind. It seemed almost perfect to create Full Mental Alchemy, I’m very excited to see what listeners think about the project. I want to thank everyone in TRUSIC for encouraging me to push myself to be great, and also for being examples of the paths to follow. Enjoy the project and share it with a friend. -KWAMIZZLE
Above & Below is the second installation in SES Da Great‘s Duality mixtape trilogy. SES explores another way to look at man’s dual nature in Above & Below; this time focusing on conflicts within one’s self. Above & Below is the hip hop form of the classic debates of good vs. evil, nature vs. nurture. SES opens up about his struggles with his demons in the past and present, but balances it by discussing some of his victories in other songs. SES Da Great’s display of honesty and complex feelings in Above & Below makes it an instant classic.
Finally, it’s here. 100% produced, written, and recorded by the young R&B/Hip Hop artist Dr. Of Creativity A.K.A. D.O.C.

Anticipation for the video of this DG Mayne produced track has been building over the past couple months and now it’s finally here. The Brooklyn MC, L.I.V.E.Wire hits you with his signature machine gun flow and recruits a feature from “One quarter of the Slaughter” Joe Budden over the siren laden, bass-driven beat from 518′s own producer, DG Mayne. Check it out below.
U.S. Bay and Young Henny give you their rendition of Deep Cover. Though I was young when the original song and movie with the same name debuted, this beat always brings me back to that era in the 90′s. Video brought to you by Nellsonline along with Hypeset Productions and Goodfellaz Filmz.
Jaja Gibore briefly steps down from “The Home of the Gods” to hand out his thoughts about love on a Deborah’s Son produced track. This Hypeset directed video is a perfect accompaniment to this dynamic cut off of the forthcoming “Home of the Gods” album. Keep an eye out for more work from Jaja Gibore.
Ses Da Great sets off his thematic mixtape trilogy, Duality, with his first installment, Young Man – Old Soul. In this chapter of Duality, Ses puts his spin on old school flows and uses classic hip hop sampledelic beats as a soundtrack to introduce himself as the “Young man spitting like my hair grey.” Some say wisdom comes with age, but in this project, Ses Da Great shows he’s put in the man-hours to accrue the experience of someone way beyond their years.
The Duality series is a prequel to the album All In. Stay tuned for the next two installments of Duality in coming weeks and then the release of All In following shortly after.

Ses Da Great VLOG #2 – DUALITY
The Dr. Of Creativity (D.O.C.) wrote, produced, directed, and edited his first official Official video in preparation for his upcoming release “When I’m Famous.” Something about D.O.C.’s swaggerful ride across the top of a parking garage makes Albany look like the west coast, only much colder.
